Kello Solutions ("we", "our", or "us") develops and operates WineGuide | Taste ("the App").

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. No User Account

WineGuide | Taste does not require you to create an account, register, or provide your name, email address, or other account information to use the App.

We do not maintain user profiles on our servers.

2. Information You Provide

Depending on how you use the App, you may provide or create the following information:

• Photos taken or selected for wine bottle scanning

• Wine information generated from scans

• Wines saved to your "My Wine List"

• Wine scan history

• Information you voluntarily enter when interacting with the Sommelier feature

• App preferences and settings

The App is designed to minimize personal data collection.

3. Camera and Photos

WineGuide | Taste may request access to your device camera or photo library so you can scan wine bottles or select an existing wine-label photo.

Photos are used to provide the requested wine recognition or analysis functionality.

The App does not use your photos for advertising purposes.

Where a third-party AI service is used to analyze an image, the selected image may be transmitted to that service for processing. Please see Section 5 for more information.

4. Local Storage

Your saved wines, wine list, scan history, and certain app preferences may be stored locally on your device.

We do not require an online account to store this information.

If you delete the App, locally stored information may also be deleted, depending on your device's storage and backup settings.

5. Third-Party AI Services

WineGuide | Taste may use third-party artificial intelligence services, such as Google Gemini API, to provide features including:

• Wine label recognition

• Wine information analysis

• Wine descriptions

• Food pairing suggestions

• Sommelier conversations

• Other AI-powered wine assistance

When you use these features, relevant content, such as a wine-label image or your question to the Sommelier, may be sent to the applicable third-party service for processing.

The third-party provider processes the information according to its own privacy policies and terms.

We do not use submitted photos or Sommelier conversations for our own advertising purposes.

We recommend reviewing the privacy documentation of the applicable third-party service before using AI-powered features.

6. Analytics and Technical Information

The App may use third-party services to help us understand app performance, diagnose technical problems, and improve the user experience.

Depending on the services enabled in the App, these providers may process limited technical information such as:

• Device type

• Operating system version

• App version

• Crash information

• Diagnostic information

• General app usage information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through analytics.

If advertising or analytics services are introduced in a future version of the App, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.

7. Advertising

WineGuide | Taste may display advertisements in certain versions of the App.

If advertising services are used, third-party advertising providers may process device or advertising-related information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Where required by applicable law or Apple's platform requirements, the App will request the appropriate permissions before accessing information used for personalized advertising.

Users may also have options available through iOS to manage advertising-related permissions and settings.

8. Purchases and Subscriptions

WineGuide | Taste may offer optional subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Payments are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and policies.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Subscription information necessary to provide premium features may be processed through Apple's App Store and, where applicable, a subscription management service such as RevenueCat.

9. How We Use Information

Information processed through the App may be used to:

• Identify wine bottles

• Provide wine information

• Provide food pairing recommendations

• Answer Sommelier questions

• Save wines to your local wine list

• Maintain scan history

• Improve app functionality

• Diagnose crashes and technical problems

• Process subscriptions and purchases

• Provide requested app features

We do not sell your personal information.

10. Data Retention

Information stored locally by the App remains on your device until you delete it, clear the relevant data, or remove the App, subject to your device's backup and storage settings.

Information sent to third-party services is retained according to the applicable provider's policies and technical practices.

We do not maintain a personal account database for WineGuide | Taste users.

11. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Information may be shared with third-party service providers only when necessary to operate specific App functionality, including:

• AI processing providers

• Analytics and crash-reporting providers

• Subscription and purchase-management providers

• Apple's App Store services

• Other infrastructure providers necessary to operate the App

VineGuide | Taste is not directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
