Coronovirus on the Amalfi Coast

Thank you, everyone for following Villa Paolillo and supporting us over the years and especially during this difficult time.

As this horrendous virus looks as though it is here to stay for a while, we have decided not to accept any bookings for the foreseeable future.

We will look at this again next spring but we must think of the health of our family and friends before anything else.

Hopefully one day more of you will get to experience the welcome and beauty of the Amalfi Coast, Pogerola and Villa Paolillo.

Some level of fitness is required to stay at Villa Paolillo

There are approximately 180 steps from the nearest road down to Villa Paolillo. This road is probably about half way up to the village square.

The Italians have a perfect phrase... "piano piano".... "slowly slowly". Take it slowly, enjoy the view and remember you are on holiday, there is no rush. There will be another bus, the bar will be open when you arrive to the square and bars sell ice cream too..... Italian ice cream.

Savour the experience.

The steps to Amalfi are all downwards from Villa Paolillo and there is a very frequent bus back up!
