I just got married again! I love this man he is so great, he has lots of money and treats me like a queen! But his daughter, ugh, I do not like her. Everyone thinks Cinderella is so beautiful but I think my daughters are way more beautiful than she is.

I am so glad to have my daughters who are two clones of me.

Today we are moving in with them. I am excited to be living with my new husband but not his daughter. All she does is take the attention of her father from me. She only cares about herself, I will teach her.

I just give her all the work and chores to do around the house. I make her clean, dust, mop, wash, and all you can think of. She’s so weird, after she finishes her chores she goes and sits near the chimney in the cinders and ashes. So my daughters and I started to call her Cinderwench. My youngest daughter is just the sweetest and thought that was too harsh. So she said we should call her Cinderella instead so that became her name.

Oh my heavens! The king just announced that his son is going to be hosting a ball for young ladies to attend. I am so excited. I must dress my daughters in the best clothes. I will get special dresses and hairpieces made and I will even have them get their hair done. I shall make Cinderella help them get ready and there is no way she is going to the ball. The ball is in two days we must start preparing!

Goodness it is the day! My daughters can barely fit in their dresses, how embarrassing. I got them dressed in the most wonderful gowns and the most perfect hair, there is no way the prince won’t fall in love with one of them.

I just saw Cinderella talking to some weird old women and mice in the yard. She is so odd, I just ignore it.

My daughters just got back from the ball.

Ugh I cannot deal with them, they said that they didn’t even talk to the prince. They said that there was one girl there who he took away all night. They said she was the most beautiful girl they had ever seen. I am so mad at them! They should have taken their time to converse with the prince and show him who they are. I want to know who this other girl is.

The king announced that there will be another ball. Of course I will dress my daughters in the best clothes again!

They just got back and said that the beautiful girl was there again. They said she left as fast as could at midnight, very interesting. They mentioned her dropping a glass slipper that the prince picked up.

Wow the king just announced that they are going to be going to every house and seeing who the glass slipper that the women left fits. The prince said that he will marry this women! I will force my daughters to fit in that slipper no matter what. I don’t care if they have to break their feet!

They are here to fit the slipper! My daughters are trying so hard to fit it to their feet but they are not succeeding! Haha. Cinderella is asking to try it on. What a joke. Wait. The slipper is fitting her. There is no way. She just pulled the other slipper out of her pocket. I cannot believe this. Now that old women is in my house. She is turning Cinderella into a princess. This is crazy. Oh we must praise Cinderella now. I want my daughters to marry rich lords.

Cinderella and the prince got married. I am jealous that it is not my daughters. Ugh.

Cinderella just introduced my daughters to Lords and they are going to get married too! I am so happy they have finally found men to marry.

Maybe Cinderella isn’t so bad after all.

Authors Note: This is the story of the classic story of Cinderella told from the perspective of the evil step mother. Everything in the story is told the same. The mother does not like Cinderella and does things in the story to make her life miserable. The differences that I made in the story was at the end when the evil step mother says that Cinderella isn’t so bad. These was no indication in the actual story that stated how the stepmother felt at the ends so I thought adding this would contribute to the end of the story. I also adding some parts in the story where the step mother sees Cinderella getting ready for the ball, in the actual story this does not happen but I thought it would make sense to have this happen in this version of the story so we know it is Cinderella going to the ball.
