Class Description: In this class we will demonstrate and discuss how to use a few rocks, a wok or pot, and kindling to easily cook delicious, historical food in camp.
You will learn how to prepare chapati, an easy whole-wheat flat bread, as well as a European and non-European dish.

Class Description: This class is an introduction to nålbinding, the precursor of knitting. I'll share a little history, then get right to beginning a pouch. I'll cover the methods of a start, a chain, and a turned row; guiding you to create your own pouch.
The class is $5 and includes the handout, nålbinding needle, and a skein of wool. The students are welcome to bring their own yarn if they have a wool sensitivity and will not be charged for the class. I prefer a maximum of 10 students.

Class Description: This is a hands-on class that will teach you the basics of tablet weaving (it helps to have some experience with weaving, but not necessary). You will learn how to speed warp up a tablet weaving warp. You will learn what a warp and weft are. You will learn the basics of how the threads twist to make the patterns and what that means. You will learn some basic patterns, how to read them and why that is important. You will learn two different methods of weaving, one of which you can even make letters with, and the best part is they both can be done with the same card setup!
