Telangana IPE 2026 Timetable

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released the official timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026 for General courses. The schedule includes the dates for theory, and practical examinations for both first- and second-year students.

The Ethics and Human Values Examination will take place on 23rd January 2026 (Friday) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (For Backlog Students Only). The Environmental Education Examination follows on 24th January 2026 (Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. These exams are mandatory for all intermediate students and will be held for one day each across the state.

The English Practical Examinations will be conducted for First Year students on 21st January 2026 (Wednesday) and for Second Year students on 22nd January 2026 (Thursday). In case the Intermediate Practical Examinations coincide with the JEE-Mains 2026 schedule, the students appearing for JEE-Mains will be given a special provision or alternative arrangement to attend their Intermediate English Practical accordingly. 

The Practical Examinations will be conducted from 2nd February 2026 (Monday) to 21st February 2026 (Saturday), including Sundays. The practical exams will take place in two sessions each day: the morning session is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the afternoon session is from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The Theory Examinations will start on 25th February 2026 (Wednesday) and will continue until 18th March 2026 (Wednesday). First-year exams will occur from 25th February to 17th March 2026, while second-year exams will take place from 26th February to 18th March 2026. The exams will be held on alternate days for each year to allow for enough preparation time between papers.
