Science Club which started in summer of 2023 with just 5 students now has occupied a big space in opportunity school. This club has turned out to be a great platform for the students to explore and innovate. Through the guidance of science club children have not only worked in a lab set up to learn via hands-on activities, they have also been encouraged along with supervision to participate in competitions such as National Children’s Science Congress and Inspire Manak Scholarship awards etc. In the year 2023-24, one of our students has received INSPIRE Manak fellowship to develop a prototype of his original idea. In the year 2024-25 nearly 20 students from grades IV to VIII have participated in Vigyan Mela which is held at Shiksha Sopan every year, where they demonstrated the science concepts through their hands-on experiments and models.
