I have got selected for the DAAD WISE fellowship, which funded my 2.5 month intern at Thermo-fluid Dynamics Group of TU Munich, in Germany. During my time in Germany, I had lot of opportunities to roam around and make maximum use of the Schengen Visa and the 49 euro DB ticket. This page is a documentation of all these experiences and memories that I collected in the span of these 76 days. Mostly will be in blog format and hence the spam begins
I took off from Mumbai to Qatar then Qatar to Munich on a 13 hr flight including a 4hr layover. The flight gave me beautiful sky visuals and amazing food (kudos to Qatar Airways)...

A beautiful Austrian town, pretty much close to the German border. A train ride from Munich, it is a real beauty, surrounded by the majestic Bavarian Alps and the city skyline dotted by historic museums and palaces. Alongside boasting a picturesque castle, the city is also the birthplace of Mozart.

Famous touristy beach city with grand cathedrals and football grandeur. The dry Mediterranean costal weather was a unique experience on its own. Beaches although crowded were maintained clean. I also had a first-hand experience at being pickpocketed, something Barcelona or any other European tourist hotspots are notorious for. I would have lost all my net worth if not for the divine intervention of señores constable David.
