During the winter of 2024, I mentored a selected batch of undergraduate students on developing finite element based solvers in python for solving problems in Computational Fluid Dynamics. This also was a recruitment drive for working on a flow solver module for my acoustics solver project- Aavritti.
My experience as a DAMP mentor motivated me, to take charge of department level activities of the programme for AY 2024-25. My responsibilities included the selection of mentors and leading policy making and various non mentorship responsibilities of the oranisation. The DAMP comes under IIT Bombay's Student Mentorship Programme.
IIT Bombay offers students an opportunity to be teaching assistants for the course they have excelled in. In the Autumn semester of the year 2023-2024, I took up that responsibility for the course SC 639 or Mathematical structures for controls. I have taken this course in autumn semester of 2022-2023 as a part of my minor programme in Systems and Controls Engineering
The vibrant student community at IIT Bombay has a strong culture of cooperation and collaboration between various batches, best represented by the student mentorship programme that enriches the very fabric of student life. I was entrusted with the responsibility of mentoring 6 sophmores as a third year student on academic and non academic matters for AY 2023-24
IIT Bombay offers students an opportunity to be teaching assistants for the course they have excelled in. In the Spring semester of the year 2023-2024, I took up that responsibility for the course MA 214 or Numerical Analysis. I have taken this course in Spring semester of 2022-2023 as my core course
Rakshak IITB is the official team of IIT Bombay consisting of students from diverse disciplines who work collaboratively to develop a fleet of robust Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to support Search and Rescue Operations (SRO) in the event of a disaster.
