AE 227 or solid mechanics is a basic course in studying mechanical properties and linear elasticity of solids and an introduction to continuum mechanics. This is a course project for the above course under prof Krishnendu Haldar.

The students were divided into 3 different groups and given 3 different problem statements. My work was related to structural analysis of a composite cantilever beam under load conditions mention in the problem statement sheet. The load values vary with roll numbers. The details of the problem statement can be found here. Modelling and simulations are done using Ansys static structures. A report was complied based on the findings.
