The Road to Esports Glory Begins on Q1 2027!

VIFA local is set to revolutionize esports with a structured six-month league, culminating in a live event featuring the final league round, the Knockout Cup, and the Super Cup. This competition will determine which teams advance to Continental and International Championships, making Azerbaijan a powerhouse in virtual football.

Tournament Timeline & Structure

 Q1 2027 – League Kickoff 

• 12 virtual clubs compete in a home & away format over six months.

• Matches are played online and streamed on VIFA local’s social media & YouTube.

 November – Grand Finale Event 

• The final round of the league is played live in an event hall.

• The event will also host the VIFA Local Knockout Cup and the VIFA Super Cup.

• The top 4 teams from the Super Cup will qualify for Continental & International Championships.

VIFA Local Tournament Breakdown

 VIFA Local League 

• Format: 12 teams, home & away matches.

• Duration: 6 months (132 matches total).

• Streaming: Online via VIFA local’s social media & YouTube.

• Goal: To determine the top 2 teams advancing to the Super Cup, which will decide international qualifications.

 VIFA Local Knockout Cup 

• Format: Single-elimination tournament among the 12 clubs.

• Finals: Played live at the season-ending event.

• Top 2: Earns national glory and a chance to compete for the Super Cup title.

VIFA Azerbaijan Super Cup

• • Format: A four-team tournament featuring:

    •  Top 2 teams from the League

    •  Top 2 teams from the Knockout Cup

  • Finals: Played in the event hall alongside the last league round.

  • Goal: Determines which teams qualify for Continental & International Championships.

Qualification for International & Continental Tournaments:

1st & 2nd place in the Super Cup → Qualify for the International Tournaments Event
3rd & 4th place in the Super Cup → Qualify for the Continental Tournaments Event
