Mandatory Location Data: Your precise GPS location is required to create an account and use the app. This is used only to show you relevant nearby matchups and gaming shops within a 10 km range. Your exact address is never publicly displayed.

Usage Data: Information about your activity, such as matches you create or join, shops you view or favorite, and your interactions with other players.

Device Information: Data like your device type, operating system, and IP address for technical functionality and security.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and secure your user account.

To enable the core features of finding and displaying nearby players and shops.

To facilitate matchmaking, in-app chat, and invitations between players.

To allow players to rate each other and shops after a match.

To send you important notifications related to your account or matches.

To improve, maintain, and protect the VIFA ARENA app.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only as necessary:

With Other Players: Your player profile (name, rating, game preference) and approximate distance (e.g., “2 km away”) are visible to other users to enable connections. Your exact real-time location is never shared.

With Shop Owners: If you join a matchup at a specific shop, the shop owner will see your profile name related to that booking.

For Safety & Legality: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our community (e.g., to address harassment or fraud).

With Service Providers: We use trusted partners like Google Firebase for authentication and data storage. They are contractually bound to handle your data securely and only per our instructions.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data. Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion, after which data is removed following a standard safety period.

You can access, review, and update your profile information directly within the VIFA ARENA app. You may also contact us to request a copy of your data or to delete your account.
