I am a dedicated Senior and FET phase educator with practical training in Geography, History, and English across diverse school settings. I completed my Bachelor of Education at the University of Pretoria in 2025 and am registered with SACE (13043979).
I believe that every learner can succeed when instruction is differentiated and relevant. My approach is learner-centered, adaptable, and driven by a commitment to fostering critical thinking, cultural awareness, and linguistic competence.
I create classrooms where:
Learners feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes.
Lessons connect to real-world contexts.
Every student's voice is heard and valued.
I experienced a challenging transition to tertiary education in 2021, but took full accountability, developed effective study strategies, and achieved consistent academic growth each subsequent year, leading to the successful completion of my degree. This experience taught me resilience and the importance of a growth mindset – qualities I am passionate about instilling in my own learners.
My research focused on resource disparities across South Africa and how teachers can use their advanced skills to close the gap while waiting for permanent solutions from the government or the community
