Careers in Healthcare Presentation - 2/6/23

In this presentation, I talked about the two careers I am most intereseted in, a Psychologist and a Registered Nurse. I explained the Scope of Practice, Educational Track, Skills & Qualities, Earning Potential, and the Job Outlook for both of these careers. 

Reflection: During this presentation the things I did well was that my slideshow was very organized, looked proffesional, I knew what I was talking about, and the slideshow was very appealing with many good pictures. My classmates found most interesting about my presentation was that it was different from others and was engaging. Improvements I need to make for my next presentation would be adding more eye contact. This is a high goal for me since I have always struggled with reading off the screen and not maintaining eye contact with my audience. 

Healthcare Procedure Presentation - 2/24/23

In this presentation, I talked about what a Psychologist does and how their steps to helping clients through their mental health problems. I included the pictures, a video, and lot's of detailed information about what and who is all involved within this career. 

Reflection: During this presentation the things I did well was had a good video, had good pictures, and the set up looked nice and organized. My classmates found most interesting about my presentation was how much schooling it takes. Improvements I need to make for my next presentation would still be adding more eye contact and have a higher volume while speaking. My goals would be to especially work on minimizing the amount of words I put on my slides and that will help me with not reading off the slides as much.
