I am running for the Sycamore Board of Education because I care deeply about our schools, our teachers, and most of all our kids.
As a fourth-generation Aviator, a proud Sycamore graduate, and the mom of two current students, I have lived the Sycamore story from many perspectives. I have spent more than a decade volunteering in our schools, working side by side with teachers, staff, and families to build a stronger, kinder community.
With two children who have disabilities, I know firsthand how important it is to make sure every student feels supported and has the chance to thrive. And as part of a one-income family, I understand the challenges many families face and will bring that real-world perspective to the Board.
For me, serving on the Board of Education is about more than policy; it’s about people. It’s about ensuring that every family feels welcome, every teacher feels supported, and every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
