Group Leader Welcome

Welcome to Victoria Point Scout Group, a friendly, family orientated, approachable Scout group that focuses on the development and personal growth of our youth, leaders and community.

We provide Scout programs for youth between the ages of 5 and 26 who are looking to grow through adventure, discovery and challenges. Our unique programs are (age appropriately) 'youth lead, leader assisted', allowing our young people the opportunity to develop skills like problem solving, communication, teamwork and leadership from a very young age.

Our youth are encouraged to participate in a variety of traditional scouting activities and skills like Camping, Bushwalking, Bushcraft, Abseiling, Canoeing and Rafting, but are also encouraged and supported to engage in and pursue activities that are not considered 'usual' like Mountain Biking, Skiing, Diving, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Music and Drama.

Victoria Point Scout Group formed in 1969 and still operates from the former World War II military hut. It is located on the edge of the protected Eprapah environmental and ecological site, on the corner of Cleveland-Redland Bay Road and Colburn Avenue, Victoria Point.

We are happy to accept membership enquiries any time of the year for leaders and youth members.
