1. What is VVSC?
   VicinityVision Song Contest is a competition between countries and territories, which aims to find which one has the best song.
   
   

2. How can I participate?
   To participate you must submit an entry in the comments of the 'participation open' video. Participation for Edition 16 will begin in June.
   
   

3. Why is VVSC 16 hosted in Antarctica?
   VVSC 16 will be hosted in McMurdo, Antarctica following their victory in VVSC 15, with Goodnight Louisa and her track 'Hollow God'.
   
   

4. How is the winner decided?
   The winner is decided through a mixture of jury voting (in which music professionals cast their votes) and televoting (in which the general public cast their votes).
   
   

5. What does the average winning entry sound like?
   The more recent successful entries have been mostly indie and in the English language, or ethnic songs in the country's native language. This is not a recipe for success though, as any song can do well!!!
