Terms of Service for VGT

By downloading or using Video Game Tracker - VGT, you agree to be bound by:

• The Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at:
  https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

• And the following supplemental Terms of Use, which apply specifically to Video Game Tracker - VGT.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Video Game Tracker - VGT, you agree to these Terms of Use in addition to the Apple Standard EULA.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• "App" refers to Video Game Tracker - VGT mobile application.

• "User," "you," and "your" refer to the person accessing or using the App.

• "We," "us," and "our" refer to Video Game Tracker - VGT and its operators.

• "Content" refers to all materials, features, data, game information, text, graphics, and functionality provided within the App.

3. Use of the App

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App

• Use the App in unlawful or harmful ways

• Misuse our data or attempt to access IGDB services outside the App’s intended use

4. Third-Party Data (IGDB)

The App displays video game information retrieved from the IGDB API.

• IGDB owns all rights to its data

• Data accuracy is not guaranteed

• Your use of IGDB data must align with IGDB’s terms

5. User Data & Deletion

All user-generated data is stored locally on your device.
You may delete all stored data at any time by:

• Deleting the App from your device, and/or

• Using the App’s data deletion features (if available)

Deleting the App may remove all locally stored data, subject to any device-level backups (such as iCloud) you may have enabled.

6. Optional iCloud Sync

The App may offer optional iCloud Sync features.

If you choose to enable iCloud Sync, your game library, progress entries, notes, and related app data may be stored in your private iCloud account provided by Apple and synced across your devices.

We do not control or manage your iCloud account and do not have access to data stored in your private iCloud account.

You are responsible for any iCloud settings or device-level account configurations required to use these features.

7. Exported Data

The App may allow you to export certain app data, such as your games or session history, into files such as CSV.

Any exported files are created at your direction and are your responsibility once exported, including how they are stored, shared, or deleted.

We are not responsible for how exported data is handled, stored, or shared after it leaves the App.

8. Remote Services Availability

Some features of the App, including search, discovery, and game metadata, rely on third-party or remote services.

These services may become unavailable, delayed, incomplete, or change at any time due to network conditions, service outages, API changes, or third-party provider limitations.

We do not guarantee the uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or continued operation of these services or the data they provide.

9. No Warranty

The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee error-free operation or uninterrupted access.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Any damages resulting from use of the App

• Loss of data stored on your device

• Issues or inaccuracies related to the data displayed in the App

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the App after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
