VFW MEMBERSHIP TYPES

We offer three types of memberships -  VFW Regular, Social Veteran, and Social Member. 

Annual dues are $32 for all memberships.   

VFW LIFE MEMBERSHIP

By becoming a VFW Life member, you make a lifetime commitment to serving your fellow service members and veterans. That's something to take great pride in.

You'll also enjoy many great benefits of being a Life member! You will:

• Avoid annual dues and renewals.

• Maintain your membership in any Post you choose, worldwide!

• Never pay an increase in dues—Guaranteed!

• Receive a 10% discount on exclusive VFW Store merchandise for the first year.

• Receive a 10% cash back from your LIFE MEMBERSHIP fee from  VFW Post 5467.

You can become a VFW Life member by making a one-time payment, or you can pay for your Life membership through our installment plan with an initial $45 payment and the Life membership amount billed over an 11-month period.

VFW REGULAR MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

VFW Regular Members must meet the VFW eligibility requirements that comprise of three qualifiers - US citizenship, honorable discharge from a U.S. branch of the military, and having served in an identified war campaign on foreign soil. 

1.  Access the Membership Application to download, fill out, print, and sign.  

2. Bring the completed VFW application and copy of the member's DD-214 to the Post. Temporary access to the building can be gained by pushing a buzzer at the left front door.

3. The application will be reviewed at the next Post meeting, which is held on the first Monday of every month, to determine eligibility.

4.  If eligible, the application will go to National VFW. If ineligible, you can become a social veteran member of the Home Association. 

5.  The membership card will arrive in the mail from National. If not received within 60 days, please get in touch with the Post Quartermaster to investigate. In addition to a membership card, members are issued a key card to access the building.

6. Remit payment of first annual dues of $32

VFW SOCIAL VETERAN MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

Our social veteran membership is ideal for any veteran and active duty military that do not meet the VFW eligibility requirements. 

1.  Complete the application for social membership and provide a copy of DD-214. 

2.  Remit payment of first annual dues of $32

VFW SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

Anyone is welcome to become a social member!  Veteran status is not required. 

1.  Complete the application for social membership.

2.  Application will be reviewed at the next Post meeting held on the first Monday of every month to determine eligibility.

3.  Remit payment of first annual dues of $32
