Site 2 - Ephemeral vent

This feature corresponds to the breakage of a lava flow front from which molten lava outpoured forming a new flow, usually short in duration or length. It is commonly associated with lava tubes. Here, the lava outpoured and formed lateral levees. Its location suggests that the outpoured lava came from Site 3.
