We are a passionate and creative team participating in FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) — a global robotics program that challenges students to explore STEM through hands-on learning, teamwork, and real-world problem solving.
Our team meets every week to collaborate, build, and learn together. Each meeting is a mix of focused work, creative problem-solving, and fun. We split our time between several key areas:
FLL challenges teams to complete three main parts during the competition:
Robot Game
Our robot completes as many missions as possible in 2.5 minutes on a themed LEGO game field. This requires careful design, strategy, and programming.
Innovation Project
We research a real-world issue and propose an innovative solution. Then, we present our project to a panel of judges, often with a live demo or prototype.
Core Values
FIRST emphasizes teamwork, inclusion, and discovery. We’re judged on how well we collaborate, solve problems, and support each other — both within our team and in the wider community.
We compete at local qualifiers, and if we advance, we may attend regional or state championships. Throughout the season, we grow as engineers, thinkers, and teammates — learning to face challenges head-on and have fun along the way!
🤖 Robot Design & Building – We use LEGO® SPIKE Prime or EV3 kits to design, build, and test a fully autonomous robot that can complete challenges on a themed field. Every season pushes us to think critically and improve our engineering skills.
💻 Coding – Using block-based coding we write code that controls the robot’s sensors and motors. Our goal is to make our robot complete missions efficiently and consistently during the robot game.
🌍 Innovation Project & Outreach – Each year, we research a real-world problem based on the season's theme. Then we develop a creative solution and share it with experts, community members, and judges. Outreach is a huge part of what we do — we love presenting our ideas and learning from others.
