My name is Veronica Atherton, and I'm so glad you're here!

I teach private lessons on brass instruments: trumpet, cornet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, and baritone, as well as piano. I also teach music theory lessons if you're interested in learning more about "how music works!"

My main instrument is trumpet, and I would love to share music with you and your event! I have played in churches, weddings, musicals, and I also have played taps for ceremonies and memorials. I love collaborating with other musicians, so if you have a project idea please send me a message!

The studio name, Jubilee Music Studio, comes from my belief that music should bring us joy. As we strive for musical excellence, I believe the process of learning and growing in our ability to play an instrument should be joyful, and we should eagerly share the music we've learned with others so that they may share in our joy.

My goals for my students are to grow in technical ability on their instrument of choice (they're all good choices, but I like trumpet the best!), to grow in musicality, to learn good practice habits, and to learn to celebrate the successes and improvements that come from regular and persistent practice.
