Veronica Ibarra is a dedicated and loving mother of four wonderful children, each with unique needs. With immense patience, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to her family, she navigates the challenges and joys of parenthood with grace. Her ability to balance the diverse demands of her children has honed her skills in empathy, advocacy, and adaptability. Through her photography and graphic design talents, she creatively shares awareness and advocacy, making a meaningful impact in her community.
Veronica has had the privilege of working in various capacities that have equipped her with a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of individuals with disabilities.
She supports students with special needs in an educational setting as a paraprofessional at a charter school.
She is also a dance coach for an inclusive/Special Olympics team. That includes students from 5 years old to 55 years old with a variety of disabilities and levels.
Veronica also worked in a day program for individuals with disabilities, engaging them in various activities and helping them learn life skills as a day program aide.
As a resident assistant, she has assisted adults with disabilities in a residential facility with their everyday lives.
She has also taught pre-K through 12th-grade students with special needs in a private school setting as a special education teacher.
Furthermore, she owned and operated her preschool and daycare, providing early childhood education and care to both neurotypical and special needs children and infants.
Additionally, she has cared for high-level kids and teenagers with special needs as a foster and professional parent.
In her free time, Veronica enjoys sewing, crafting, and traveling, which provide her with a refreshing break and a chance to recharge. Her positive outlook and tireless dedication inspire those around her, making her a pillar of strength and a beacon of hope in her community.
