The Stanford Quad yearbook has been around since the University’s first graduating class in 1895. The Stanford Daily volunteered to take over production for the 2016-17 year because the student group formerly responsible folded, leaving no legacy product or plans.
My role: product manager (editorial and administrative/marketing/launch) — I managed startup efforts and one complete production cycle from the beginning (recruiting an editorial staff, finding a contracted portrait photographer, and choosing a publisher) to the end (creation, marketing, and distribution).
