The Impact of our work

Vee's Consulting has led numerous initiatives to support artists and bring people together through arts and culture across sectors. Current and former clients include Neighborhood Leadership Cleveland, The Creative Healing Foundation, and Assembly for the Arts, these collaborations included professional development for artists while also connecting them with resources and opportunities to monetize their craft and our advocacy enabled Cleveland-area artists to attend a national conference hosted in Cleveland with discounted admissions, removing financial barriers to participation allowing up close exploration of the field of arts in health.

Our work has made a significant and lasting impact on Cleveland.    Data collected by Vee’s Consulting for the nationwide AEP6 research study showed arts and cultural programs in Cuyahoga County generated an impressive $533 million in 2022 alone.  We  led and managed the Arts & Economic Prosperity (AEP6) a nationwide research study that measured the economic impact of the arts on Cuyahoga County, as part of the largest and most inclusive study of its kind ever conducted, that focused on 387 participating communities from across the country in partnership with Americans for the Arts.  We cultivated the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) awareness campaign that played a crucial role in the success of helping over 100 artists and creative businesses secure their portion of $1.5 million dollars of available ARPA funding during their pandemic recovery. These efforts also introduced artists to invaluable resources and opportunities through Assembly for the Arts.

Our community engagement initiatives, in collaboration with Neighborhood Leadership Cleveland, have led to several organizations receiving first time funding through a local funding organization as a result of their community centered feedback strategy. We’ve also supported startup nonprofit organizations, amplifying their messages and expanding their reach to serve more than 200 Cleveland residents, with over 50 students now benefiting from research-based programs and curricula we developed in partnership with local nonprofit arts and cultural organizations. We also worked to introduce several Cleveland artists to the National Organization for Arts in Health (NOAH) at NOAHCON 23 assisting them in exploring the field of arts in health while also expanding their networks.
