About Ms. Vee
Hi...👋🏾My name is Veronica Thornton but most people call me Ms. Vee. I’m an author and consultant who transforms lived experience, creativity, and strategy into powerful stories and practical solutions. My work is rooted in the belief that creativity is not just expressive it’s transformative. Whether through writing or consulting, my mission is to guide individuals, organizations, and communities to grow, heal, and thrive.
Through my writing, I spark awareness and conversation. My books and essays explore creativity, resilience, and lived experience, encouraging readers to look beyond surface-level thinking and aesthetics. I aim to guide readers toward deeper reflection, critical insight, and meaningful growth—helping them see the world, and themselves, in new ways.
Through my consulting business, I design Viable, Efficient, and Effective Solutions (V.E.E.S.) that create real-world change. I partner with nonprofits, small businesses, and grassroots initiatives to develop strategies that are actionable, sustainable, and centered in equity and accessibility. From arts-based community engagement campaigns to large-scale projects funded through initiatives like the American Rescue Plan (ARPA for artists) , I help organizations translate vision into measurable impact.
Together, my work bridges the worlds of art, business, and community impact. I combine storytelling with strategy, creativity with execution, and imagination with practical solutions because true transformation happens at the intersection of insight, action, and innovation. Having navigated my own challenges, I'm dedicated to helping others and their communities not just make it through tough times, but discover how to thrive using their unique strengths, resilience, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Ms. Vee has also been selected as 1 of 5 Arts leaders from Cleveland to become part of the 2026 Creative Ohio Advocacy Leadership Institute.
The CreativeOhio Advocacy Leadership Institute supports and galvanizes leaders from the arts, culture, and creative sector to power a more inspired Ohio.
