Communicable Disease Plan
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vernon Silhouettes paused all sport participation in March 2020 and have since restarted our Recreational AquaGO! program under the BC Artistic Swimming's Return to Artistic Swimming plan and the City of Vernon's Communicable Disease Prevention Plan. All athletes, coaches and admin staff must follow current Provincial Health Orders and Return to Sport restrictions as indicated by the Province of BC, viaSport, BC Recreation & Parks Association and BC Artistic Swimming.
As of July 11, 2022, the BCAS Board of Directors repealed all COVID-19 policies including the Return to Artistic Swimming Guidelines, the Artistic Swimming Restart Plan and the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Vernon Silhouettes athletes and parents are recommended to read, the BCAS Communicable Disease Prevention Plan & Illness Policy
The Silhouettes will continue to follow all current Provincial Health Orders and abide by any restrictions or rules established by the City of Vernon or any municipality/facility in which we train.
