This Privacy Policy explains how Veri Happy Places (the “App”) handles information. It applies to version 1.0 of the App. Replace all bracketed fields before publication and have the final policy reviewed for the countries or regions where the App will be offered.
Veri Happy Places is designed to keep personal content private. The App does not require an account and the operator does not run a server that receives users' photographs, photo names or captions, mood check-ins, journal entries, generated images, reminder times, Time Out activity, or backup files.
The App contains no advertising, behavioral tracking, developer-operated analytics, or third-party advertising SDKs.
When a user adds a photograph, the App creates and stores a private copy in protected app storage. Photo names or captions, daily mood check-ins, journal entries, the daily image selection, reminder preferences, scheduled-trip time, Time Out preferences, and the one-image-per-day generation-limit state are also stored locally.
This personal content is not published, added to the included-photo catalog, displayed to other Veri Happy Places users, or transmitted to a developer-operated server.
Photographs labeled “VHP provided” are publisher-supplied app assets that are bundled for all users. They are not photographs uploaded through the App by another user.
The App uses Apple's system photo picker so the user can deliberately select a photograph to add. The App does not use selected photographs to build a database, advertise, track users, or train a developer-operated artificial-intelligence model.
If a user enables reminders, the App asks iOS for notification permission. A repeating daily reminder and a one-time scheduled-trip reminder are created locally by iOS. The App does not use a developer-operated remote push-notification server and the operator does not receive the user's chosen reminder times. Notification delivery depends on iOS settings, Focus modes, and other system conditions.
On supported devices, the App can open Apple's system Image Playground with an initial people-free nature description. Apple provides image generation under Apple's settings, terms, and privacy practices. The App saves only the image the user chooses to return to it. The operator does not receive the prompt, a server copy of the image, or an image-generation usage record.
The App's attributed reflection quotations and source metadata are bundled inside the App. The App does not contact an online quotation service or send journal, mood, or usage information to obtain them.
If a user chooses to open an optional source or license webpage, the destination website and the user's browser or Apple device may process information under their own privacy policies. Veri Happy Places does not control those external services.
App data may be included in an iPhone or iCloud device backup that the user controls through Apple. A user can also create a portable private backup and choose its destination through Apple's Files interface, including iCloud Drive or another storage provider the user selects.
A portable backup can contain private photographs, custom names or captions, mood history, journal entries, and preferences. Users should protect the backup and avoid sharing it unintentionally. These backup destinations are controlled by the user and their chosen provider, not by a Veri Happy Places server.
Core features, bundled images, daily quotations, Time Outs, soundscapes, journals, mood check-ins, and local reminders work offline. Network access may occur when the user deliberately opens an external source page or uses an Apple Intelligence feature. The App does not load advertising or developer-operated analytics resources.
Private content remains in app storage until the user deletes the item or the App, subject to copies retained in backups the user controls. A user can delete added or generated photographs and journal entries inside the App.
Deleting an added photograph removes the App's private copy and associated name; it does not delete the original from the user's Photos library. Deleting the App removes its local content unless the user later restores content from a backup. The operator cannot access or delete a user's personal Apple backups or portable backup files.
The App uses iOS app sandboxing and protected app storage. No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should keep their iPhone passcode and Apple Account secure and should protect any portable backup they create.
Veri Happy Places is a general-audience wellness app and is not offered in Apple's Kids category. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App because the App has no account or developer-operated data-collection service. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information directly to the support contact, they may request deletion by emailing the address above.
The operator may update this policy when the App or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated. If the App's data practices materially change, its App Store privacy answers and in-app disclosures will also be updated before the change is released.
