Achievements and Legacy

Vera was awarded a scholarship to the University of WA.

Vera knew how to speak 7 different languages.

She learned English when she was 14 years old, and this helped her a lot during the Holocaust.

She was married for 61 years to her husband who she met at the University of Washington.

Vera was a part of the Seattle Holocaust Center's Legacy Bureau for 4 years.
