TERMS OF USE – FORGE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Forge mobile application (“App”) provided by Ventari Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. THE APP

Forge is a personal productivity and self-discipline tool that helps you set goals, track daily wins, journal, and access educational content. Features may change over time.

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. ACCOUNTS

- You may need a Google account to sign in

- You are responsible for activity under your account

- Provide accurate information and keep access secure

- You must be old enough to use Google services and enter a binding agreement in your country

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. YOUR CONTENT

You retain ownership of content you create in the App (such as goals and journal entries).

You grant us a limited licence to host, store, back up, and process that content solely to operate the App (including cloud sync and restore).

You are responsible for the content you enter. Do not store illegal content or content you do not have the right to use.

4. PREMIUM FEATURES AND PAYMENTS

Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase through Google Play.

- Prices and billing terms are shown in Google Play at purchase

- Subscriptions renew according to Google Play’s rules unless cancelled

- Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policies

- We do not control Google’s payment systems

Deleting the App or your account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel in Google Play subscription settings.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

- Reverse engineer, abuse, or disrupt the App or our services

- Attempt to access other users’ data

- Use the App for unlawful purposes

- Misuse cloud backup or authentication systems

Educational articles and in-app content are for general information only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App, branding, design, and original content (excluding your personal entries) belong to Ventari Studio or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or with written permission.

7. DISCLAIMER

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy of tracking, or that cloud backup will always succeed.

Forge supports personal growth habits; results depend on your own actions.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VENTARI STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ZERO IF YOU USE ONLY THE FREE VERSION).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.

9. TERMINATION

You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete your account in Settings.

We may suspend or stop providing the App or your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.

After account deletion, we remove associated cloud data as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to technical and legal limits.

11. CHANGES

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes may be highlighted in the App or on our site when practical.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
