paritranaya sadhunam vinasaya ca duskrtam
dharma-samsthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge
TRANSLATION
In order to deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of dharma, I advent Myself millennium after millennium.

Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshou kada chana, Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani.
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन । मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन । मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥
కర్మణ్యే వాధికారస్తే మా ఫలేషు కదాచన
మా కర్మ ఫలహేతుర్భూర్మాతే సంగోస్త్వ కర్మణీ
You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty. - Bhagavad Gita, Chapter II, Verse 47
ఇది భగవద్గీతలో సుప్రసిద్ధమైన శ్లోకం. 2 వ అధ్యాయంలో 47 వది. అర్థం
“నీకు పని చెయ్యడం మీదే అధికారం ఉంది. దాని ఫలితం మీద మాత్రం లేదు. ఫలితానికి నువ్వు కారణం కాకూడదు. అలాగే పని చెయ్యడం మానకూడదు. ప్రతిఫలం ఆశించకుండా పనులు చెయ్యి”.
