In conclusion, as stated in the introduction, the Veggie Blaster Team believes the project was a success. The team overcame multiple hurdles in order to complete as much of the project as possible. As stated in the Project Management section of the report, the final SPI value was 0.8722 (behind schedule <1.0) and the final CPI value was 0.9982 (overbudget <1.0). The team was able to complete 83.88% of the required tasks. Every required document was completed, components were machined and manufactured, and the team maintained a strict budget. Given more time to complete the physical creation of the device the team would have been able to produce a working concept. Using SolidWorks, the design of the device is feasible, it can be assembled with little to no difficulty and most importantly it can be created with known processes without the need of special exceptions to be made to create it. There were many lessons learned throughout the entire project and in the future the Veggie Blaster Team is more confident in their Project Management skills and will be able to apply their experience with this project in the workplace to be valuable assets to any team.
