Your privacy matters. VECTOR is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle.
Overview
VECTOR is a study app for the FAA Part 107 exam. The app works offline and stores your study data on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information stored on your device
All of your study activity stays on your device, including:
- Your practice answers, quiz and mock exam results, and statistics
- Your progress, streaks, mastery levels, and readiness score
- Any profile details you choose to enter, such as a display name, study goal, or target test date
- Your app settings and preferences
This information is stored locally using Apple's on-device storage. It is not uploaded to us or to any server we control. If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device. You can also reset your progress at any time in Settings.
AI Tutor
VECTOR includes an optional AI tutor. When you choose to ask the AI tutor a question, the text you submit is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, PBC, to generate a response. This is the only feature that sends information off your device, and it happens only when you actively use the tutor.
- We do not attach your name or identity to these requests.
- Please avoid including personal or sensitive information in your messages to the tutor.

Purchases and subscriptions
VECTOR offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions (VECTOR Pro). Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Notifications
If you turn on study reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server, and your reminder settings stay on your device.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking.
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not sell or share your personal information.
App analytics from Apple
If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized, aggregated analytics and crash data. This information does not identify you, and you can turn it off at any time in your device's privacy settings.
Children's privacy
VECTOR is intended for adults preparing for a professional certification and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data security
Because your study data stays on your device, it is protected by your device's own security, such as your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We recommend keeping your device software up to date.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
