1/2 cup Vegetable oil
2 Large onions sliced
1 1/2 lb Lamb meat chopped into chunks
1 lb Long grain rice
1 lb Carrots chopped into medium sticks
1 head Garlic
1 tbsp Cumin powder (or seeds)
1 tsp Coriander powder
Salt and pepper for additional taste
1. Wash the rice.
2. Fry onions using vegetable oil for a few minutes.
3. Add lamb to the fried onion pan and cook it for another 10 minutes.
4. Add carrots.
5. Add spices and 4 cups of water.
6. Add the washed rice into the pot and spread it evenly. Let it cook for 30 minutes/until the water is fully absorbed. Cover the pot with its lid.
7. Cool down the dish, and then it is ready to be served.
