I am a highly specialist psychodynamic psychotherapist with extensive experience within the NHS Mental Health (primary and secondary care), University and Charity sectors. I am also currently employed as a Highly Specialist Psychotherapist within the NHS. I also teach and supervise on a professional psychotherapy training course. I have experience of working with high risk, severe and complex cases and safeguarding working under BPC guidelines and ethical framework and am Registered with The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
I believe that through the process of understanding ones mind we can lead rich and self-fulfilling lives with greater depth, understanding and enriched relationships. The relationship between the therapist and patient can be a vehicle for growth of the individual and it is by this that the process can help the individual begin to understand themselves and their experiences.
