What is a CSA???
Very simply, a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is basically a way for farmers to secure funds up front to assist in covering the cost to grow produce. Most produce growing involves paying up front for seeds, plants, equipment and labor. Loans are hard to come by (and they are expensive). By shaving off the costs of interest on credit cards, we can afford to grow more and pay our employees a competitive salary. And we are happy to pass some of that savings on to you!

We sell our CSA shares during the winter to help us offset the fees from loans and credit cards. Our "shares" are basically a gift card you purchase, at a discount, to be used during the growing season for anything in our Farm Stand. We found that we had almost as many complaints making boxes each week as our customers did:
-if we grow enough produce to fill a bunch of boxes on Saturday morning, what happens to all the produce that's ready on Tuesday?
-where are we going to get/store/organize all those boxes?
-who is going to handle all that organizing/sorting/checking off when we need all hands on deck to work the regular Stand?
-and yall with the, "Sweet potatoes AGAIN?"
This way, you choose your day, time, what you get, how much you get each time, it's fresh (not held since Tuesday), and you can even pick your own produce from our fields saving you even more money! The cards can be used at our off site venues as well as Honor System when we are closed!
Our 2025 CSA membership drive has ended, Thank You for your support!
