Vasily Rogov

My name is Vasily Rogov.

Since October 2026 I will be Akademischer Rat at LMU (Munich), working in the Differential Geometry & Topology Group headed by Dieter Kotschick.
Currently I am a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Science (Leipzig), working in the group of Anna Wienhard.
Before that I was a PhD student of Bruno Klingler at Humboldt University (Berlin).

I am interested in (complex) Hodge theory in the broadest sense. By this, I understand the study of topology and deformation theory of Kähler manifolds and complex algebraic varieties using the methods of Riemannian geometry, complex analysis, geometric group theory, mathematical physics and model theory.

I prefer to spell my own name in English like this: Vasily
Due to the incredible linguistic talent of the Russian state services, my passport spells my name this way: Vasilii . I sometimes use this spelling in the official documents.
