• The main objective of this Special Issue is to highlight the importance of renewable energy efficient systems. The main focus has been given to novel technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, for the optimization of renewable energy systems. Present Special Issue covers the integration of various advance energy storage technologies of renewable energy for sustainable development.

• A low carbon footprint and sustainable development for a green environment are the most talked about areas in the past years.
