A Brief Biography

I am a senior lecturer in Machine Intelligence at Loughborough University, UK. I currently supervise 1 Post-Doc, 3 PhD students, and have graduated 2 PhD students in the area of machine learning and autonomous systems. Been a work package leader in two European Union Funded projects and have published nearly 50 articles in signal processing, computer vision and multi-agent policy learning. I currently hold a funding portfolio of nearly Euro 500k, mostly from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research council in the UK. Most relevant to this tutorial is the New Investigator Grant from EPSRC UK on “Multi-modal Imitation Learning in Multi-Agent Environments”. I am also the principal investigator on two Industry funded projects from Chelsea FC and Dallas Mavericks USA/NBA on the use of Multi-agent systems for sports analytics. As a lecturer, I am the module leader on 4 graduate level courses on Data Science, Bayesian Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Gaming technologies and simulation, with consistently high feedback scores.
