Hi, my name is Julian Vargas, and I'm a freshman in the Film, Television, and Media program at Quinnipiac University. From a very young age, I found myself captivated by the art of storytelling, whether it was losing myself in a movie, analyzing how a scene was shot, or imagining the kinds of stories I wanted to tell someday. That curiosity and passion are what ultimately led me to pursue film, and I couldn't be more excited to be on this path.
I grew up in New Rochelle, New York, where the people and experiences around me shaped my love for creativity. My family and friends have always been a huge part of who I am, and their support has pushed me to chase my dreams without hesitation. My ultimate goal is to one day produce my own film, a project entirely of my own vision, and share it with audiences around the world. I want to create stories that resonate, inspire, and leave a lasting impact on the people who watch them.
When I'm not immersed in creative projects or hitting the books, I love staying active and competitive. Basketball, baseball, and football have been a big part of my life growing up, and they've taught me a lot about teamwork, discipline, and pushing through challenges, values that I carry into everything I do.
I'm truly looking forward to everything Quinnipiac has to offer. I'm here to learn from incredible mentors, collaborate with fellow creatives, and grow into the filmmaker I know I can become. This is just the beginning, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me.
