The purpose of Level I fieldwork is to provide experiential opportunities for students to gain the performance competency and confidence for progressing successfully in the academic program.

The goal of level II fieldwork is to develop competent, entry-level, generalist occupational therapy practitioners, it must include an in-depth experience in delivering evidence based occupational therapy services to clients.

In this module, students will examine the purpose of level I fieldwork, identify professionals who could serve as FW supervisors and the responsibilities of students, FW supervisors, and academic fieldwork coordinators.  Tips and ideas addressing what to wear, how to introduce yourself to and communicate with your supervisors, and to interact with clients will be discussed.
