Level I Fieldwork Competency Evaluation for OT and OTA Students
The goal of level II fieldwork is to develop competent, entry-level, generalist occupational therapy practitioners, it must include an in-depth experience in delivering evidence based occupational therapy services to clients.
In this module, students will examine the purpose of level I fieldwork, identify professionals who could serve as FW supervisors and the responsibilities of students, FW supervisors, and academic fieldwork coordinators. Tips and ideas addressing what to wear, how to introduce yourself to and communicate with your supervisors, and to interact with clients will be discussed.
