This 7 minute video provides an overview of what feedback is, what it entails, the multiple forms of feedback, and items to consider when communicating with fieldwork students.
This manual was developed by Whitney Ennis, OTD, OTR/L, from Thomas Jefferson University, to serve as a resource on developing student reflection and providing student feedback during occupational therapy fieldwork experiences. It is shared with permission.
The Fieldwork Experience Assessment Tool (FEAT)
The FEAT is a great way to open communication between the FW Educator and FW II Student. This can be a helpful tool to understand the dynamics of interaction between the student, supervisor and the clinic environment and build more effective communication.
