Occupational therapy (OT) is a healthcare profession that helps individuals of all ages develop, adapt, recover, or maintain skills and abilities needed for a fulfilling life. Often times OT practitioners describe the field as "helping people do what they want to do and need to do."
The occupational therapy doctoral capstone gives students the ability to gain in-depth knowledge in a chosen area of OT. It contains two distinct portions: the project and the experience. The experience ideally aims to address an identified need and further enhance the profession of OT.
We have compiled an array of occupational therapy capstone project repositories from universities across the country to support access to valuable information and to facilitate idea generation.
