Who is Vanessa Groch?

I am a Freelance Illustrator, Painter and occasional Fashion Designer. Born in  Germany, I was raised in Bavaria, but my roots lie in Romania and so I feel at home in Transylvania aswell. 

I have been working as a freelancer since 2020 and have since then carried out several projects for public clients and private individuals. I also opened my own fashion label VANGROCH and have already worked on successful collaborations and design assignments in the field of fashion design. 

Since 2022, I have been studying Media Design in a dual programme at IU University and have now completed my B.A. degree. During my studies, I first worked in the business development team at Rödl & Partner and then, from January 2023 until the end of my programme, at NewMedia AV as part of the marketing team, where I was involved in a wide range of projects.

In my spare time, I mainly pursue my hobby of drawing and painting and have been working on my first acrylic portrait exhibition since 2022. I am also a pationate gamer and movie enthusiast, as I draw a lot of inspiration form these sources. I also take time to try out as many new art mediums as possible, from graffiti over tattooing to photography.
