Teaching
Here is a list of undergraduate courses where I have served as a teaching assistant and coordinator:
Fall 2025: Course coordinator and teaching assistant for Analysis I at EPFL.
Spring 2024: Course coordinator and teaching assistant for Integration and Probability theory at ENS Lyon.
Spring 2023: Course coordinator and teaching assistant for Integration and Probability theory at ENS Lyon.
Spring 2021: Course coordinator and teaching assistant for Probability theory and Statistics at ETH Zurich.
Fall 2018: Teaching assistant for Analysis I at ETH Zurich.
Fall 2017: Teaching assistant for Methods for Mathematical Physics at ETH Zurich.
Student Supervision
I enjoy supervising semester projects and master’s theses on a broad range of topics in probability theory, with a particular interest in random matrices, as well as in mathematical questions arising in statistics and machine learning. Students at EPFL who are interested in working on a project in these areas are welcome to contact me.
I also enjoy introducing high-school students to mathematical research through short, supervised research projects.
Outreach Activities
I am passionate about making mathematics accessible and engaging for a broad audience. Below are some of the outreach activities I have been involved in:
March 2026: Co-organized La beauté des formes géométriques : Quand les mathématiques rencontrent l’art et le vivant at EPFL with the Swiss Study Foundation, exploring connections between geometry, nature, and art.
May 2025: Interview on Images des mathématiques (in French), where I share my journey to the Ph.D. and my research interests.
Spring 2023: Co-hosted two week-long research workshops for high-school students at ENS Lyon, in collaboration with Un Peu de Bon Science.
February 2023: Introduction to Percolation Theory. We covered topics such as phase transitions, percolation in 1D and 2D, self-avoiding walks, and square/triangular/hexagonal lattices.
April 2023: Introduction to Random Walks. We covered topics such as Polya’s theorem, random walks on trees, and made GeoGebra simulations in 1D and 2D.
September 2022: I gave a talk at the Tag über Mathematik und Unterricht, an event organized by ETH Zurich for high-school teachers.
October 2021 – April 2025: Facilitator for MathαLyon, a traveling mathematics exhibition for middle- and high-school students in the Lyon region.
September 2021: I gave an outreach talk on the hundred prisoners problem as part of the Technology Week at Liceo Cantonale di Locarno.
February 2019 – December 2020: Research assistant for the TraM project (Transfer in Mathematics at the Gymnasium) at ETH Zurich. This project aimed to implement a new experimental "Cognitively Activating" curriculum to enhance students' mathematical understanding and improve knowledge-transfer skills. My role included implementing the project in the Canton of Ticino, contributing to data collection in German-speaking Switzerland, and participating in data analysis.
