ABOUT VHS DECA

DECA is a club that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. As DECA is an international organization, the following countries also participate in the competitive events, the District of Columbia, Canada, China, Germany, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Spain.  

The main goal of DECA is to prepare students for a career in the real world, so they have competitive events that range from marketing and finance of an existing company to creating your own business and planning out the entire operation. Although DECA's main attraction is competitive events, there are also several fundraising events, community service projects, and speaker series throughout the year.
