North Shore Ward
North Shore Young Women delivered school supplies and snacks to the North Shore Women's Crisis Centre, where Sandra and Laura were very happy to receive them.
Wah Yan Ward
The Young Women and Relief Society of the Wah Yan ward chose items to purchase from Monarch Place's wish list. Teresa Pun delivered the items to a Monarch Place staff member.

Janet Spence, De Ann Gershbein and Judi Leemhuis brought two new home starter kits to the North Shore Crisis Services Society.
Saghar and Shona, staff at North Shore Crisis Services, accepted the donations.
The Sechelt RS successfully completed the 1BR opportunity by donating 12 children's sized bicycle helmets to the Yew Transition House. The shelter had many needed items but we felt their need for helmets was the most worthy donation. They had mothers with children and they had bikes to ride but could not let the children ride without helmets!

Two sisters from the Vancouver YSA congregation visited Directions Youth Services and got a tour of the facility dedicated to supporting vulnerable youth who are in crisis or experiencing homelessness due to a variety of factors. The facility includes amenities to provide youth with a hot meal, as well as other resources to gain work experience and make connections with the community through art and other media.
The Directions Youth Services wish-list included board games for youth at the drop-in centre, so the Young Single Adults chose some of their favourites to purchase and donate.
Thais Venditti, Burnaby Ward Relief Society President met with Janna Florant, Program Manager, Dixon House to deliver 25 personal self-care and hygiene kits, including shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, lip balm, hand lotion and soap.
Atira's wish list was for slippers, socks, and new face and bath towels. The Vancouver 4th Ward lovingly assembled these items, and included a note of encouragement written on the art notecards from the One Billion Rising contest winners.

The Coquitlam Relief Society and Young women were able to get baby diapers, baby wipes, gift cards and a book for he Monarch Place Transition House.
The young women selected the items to buy, then the Relief Society went out to buy them. Sister Katrina Dorton, Coquitlam Ward Relief Society President, and a Young Women's Counselor and her daughter dropped off all of the donations together. It was a great experience for everyone involved!
Lisa Milad and Neelam Dass from the Port Coquitlam Ward deliver grocery gift cards to Jatinder at Tri-Cities Transition House, which serves the communities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra, supporting individuals who have experienced domestic violence and helping them transition to domestic peace.
The Vancouver 1st Ward congregation donated much-needed items for the youth at Covenant House, which serves youth ages 16-24 who have fled physical, emotional and sexual abuse or been forced from their homes. Covenant House programs include street outreach, a drop-in centre, a kitchen, a short-term crisis shelter, and help transitioning into longer-term housing.
Members of the Squamish congregation donated gas gift cards to the Howe Sound Women's Centre, supporting women and children leaving abusive situations and needing to start their lives over again.
