Valentine is the current Nosferatu Primogen, the Priscus of the Carthians, and the first among equals on the council. Only voted into this position in the last year, he is looking to make his mark on Kindred society. Valentine believes strongly in being a champion for the oppressed and has no qualms about violently throwing down oppressors. And he knows that's why he got the job.
