ERASMUS DAYS 🎈🎇

Within the framework of our E + KA229 project "Values through art", from October 15 to 17, our School will participate in the "Erasmus days"; European initiative that aims to publicize the Erasmus program in Europe and the world with various activities and celebrations. It is our intention to spread our European trajectory and the new project in which we are immersed inside and outside the walls of our school through various activities that our Erasmus Working Group is already preparing. The best way to celebrate Erasmus days is sharing the genuine Erasmus spirit with our croatian and lithuanian school partners. Our project KA229 "Values throgh art" contribute to build a more solidary Europe.

CHRISTMAS TREE 🎄 ✨

Within the framework of the "Christmas tree exchange" activity of our E + KA229 "Values through art" project, our 6th grade students, led by Ms. Mari Ángeles Peña, have been making small Christmas decorations with object to exchange them with our Croatian and Lithuanian partners and thus be able to decorate our respective Christmas trees with the contributions of all. Once the creative process is finished, we can say that we are ready to send our small artistic works to our partners by mail and that today it will leave for Sibenik and Vilnius, a package full of health, peace and love. But apart from good wishes, the box also contains some sweet surprises, tourist brochures of our town and a work on how we spend Christmas in Spain.

Congratulations to all the boys and teachers who have participated in the activity for the quality of their works and for the enthusiasm they have shown in the activity. If the process has been magnificent, the result is no less so, as we can see in these images.

We are all different and equally valuable!

In the framework of our project E + KA229 "Values through art", Ms. Julia Morales, held an interesting workshop with the groups of 5ºA and 5ºB under the title "Diversity enriches us", with the aim of making our students aware of the importance of generating and maintaining in our School a framework of coexistence where diversity is seen in a positive, enriching and non-exclusive way to form committed, responsible and supportive people with others and the environment . The 5th graders pasted silhouettes of their image with their name on the diversity wall and verified the differences that separate us and, at the same time, enrich us.

In December 6, we celebrate in Spain the day of the Spanish Constitution. Children in early childhood education have learned today that the Constitution tells us what our RIGHTS AND DUTIES are, some as important as the right to education and the right to health and sports, among others.

For this reason, they have made some very cool pennants with the flag of Spain that they have taken home waving in the wind.

Work in progress to celebrate Peace Activity...

PEACE DAY CELEBRATION

Education for peace constitutes one of the priority axes of our school.

For this reason, on the occasion of the celebration of Peace Day, the workshop "Chain of Favors" is held in the school.

Through the short film of the same name, we reflect on the importance of carrying out small actions that improve the lives of others in our daily lives.

These good actions make everyone around us happy and it is contagious by creating a chain of acts of solidarity.

During this week we ask for everyone's collaboration to create an infinite chain of favors.

Each student will write their good action on a link and a chain will be formed that collects all the good actions performed.

Let the winds of peace blow. Spanish bottles are already surfing. We can´t wait our school partners´ bottles.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS ✍📕🖍

Every good Erasmus project worth its salt must pay close attention to the dissemination of its activities so that they achieve the greatest possible impact both within and outside their educational community. Our project E + KA229 "Values through art" does so through a clear and well-defined dissemination strategy that is driven by this humble blog. Today we bring up a new dissemination activity that we have launched together with our Croatian and Lithuanian partners through the development of different promotional materials such as stickers, document holders, T-shirts, key rings, bracelets, caps, pencils, etc. .. that make our project visible in each of the partner schools and strengthen our European feeling.

Our school is already working on the design and elaboration of different materials to be sent to our European colleagues. This is just a sketch of the design of one of those materials that will soon be seen on the wrists of our friends from Sibenik and Vilnius.
