Values through art arises from the Erasmus E+ KA229 school exchange project for the 20-21 and 21-22 years with the aim of establishing communication channels that serve to coordinate actions, stimulate cooperative work of students and teachers, and finally, to serve as a repository, through its Twinspace, of the numerous graphic and documentary material generated by the activities carried out throughout the project, thus playing an important role in the implementation and monitoring of our Erasmus project.

The aim of this project is to improve coexistence, overcome learning problems and improve the academic performance of our students, taking art and its manifestations as the backbone. We understand that art and its values can contribute to generating a framework of coexistence and collaborative, respectful and enriching learning where diversity is viewed in a positive and friendly way.

The second day of virtual mobility the 5th graders have been able to work on values ​​and emotions together with their European colleagues in an interactive and virtual way through a fantastic "Genially" activity prepared by the Erasmus Working Group of our School. The students have made a trip to the planet of emotions, having to make different stops on their way; On each scale, they had to watch a video related to a value and correctly answer a questionnaire of questions in order to continue advancing in their space journey. In the end all the boys have successfully completed their interplanetary journey, which means that they have paid a lot of attention to the videos shown and have gotten their answers right.

THE THIRD DAY OF VIRTUAL MOBILITY

The third day of virtual mobility the session was aimed mainly at 3rd grade spanish students, although the 4th B students have also accompanied us during the presentation of a very cool video that they wanted to show theiir partners to show them spanish school and its dependencies. Subsequently, the 3rd grade students have been working on the values ​​through the story "The grasshopper and the ant" with a very cool "Genially". After highlighting the values ​​of effort, constant work, empathy, generosity and solidarity shown in the story, a couple of interactive activities in the form of a puzzle and quizz game put their cultural and digital competence to the test. As a culmination, a group of 6ºB girls performed a fantastic choreography of the song "La libertad" by Álvaro Soler that made little Croatian and Lithuanian members jump out of their seats.

THE FOURTH DAY OF VIRTUAL MOBILITY

The last day of virtual mobility the 6th grade boys and our 2nd grade boys were the protagonists of the activities. They started the day with a fun Kahoot on various issues related to cultural, geographical and economic aspects of the EU and the countries involved in the project, which literally had the students hooked on hard struggle to reach the top positions in the ranking. After the Kahoot, the farewell party took place in which our 6th grade and 2nd grade boys capped off a whole week of activity by dancing the "Macarena" with their Croatian and Lithuanian colleagues.

Evaluation 👨‍💻✍

Erasmus days at the Catholic Primary School were celebrated for two days. On October 14, 2021., the students presented the activities in which they participated in the project to their colleagues at the school through a presentation and videos, followed by a knowledge quiz and occasional gifts. During the celebration, in the atrium of the school, photographs of the activities of the Values ​​through Art project were constantly exchanged, as well as the results of the projects in the previous school year so that all visitors were acquainted with the activities of Catholic primary school students.

On October 15. 2021., employees of the Krka National Park visited and held an ecological workshop "Little Nature Keepers" to introduce them to the peculiarities of the National park, flora and fauna and rules of conduct to preserve nature. The tasks of the workshop are to convey to children the message that each of us can have a positive or negative impact on plants, animals and nature.

An online meeting of project partners was held on 23/11/2021 in order to agree on the work and the manner of mobility in the school year 2021/2022.

FIRST DAY OF HYBRID MOBILITY

On the first day of the mobility, Croatian students welcomed Lithuanian students with a welcome program at the Catholic Primary School, after which Lithuanian students got to know the state of Croatia, the school, students and teachers better. Spanish students followed the program online, via the Zoom app. Games were organized for Lithuanian students in the school yard to get to know the famous game “Graničar”, which Croatian children love to play. After lunch, the students toured the old town of Šibenik with a tourist guide.

The students were welcomed in the Cathedral of St. James by the Bishop of Šibenik, Tomislav Rogić.

SECOND DAY OF HYBRID MOBILITY

On the second day of hybrid mobility, students from Lithuania and Croatia visited the Interpretation Center of the Cathedral of St. Jakov - Civitas Sacra, get to know the history and construction of the cathedral with the guidance of an expert guide. After that, they had an art workshop in which, with guidance, they made the dome of the Šibenik Cathedral.

A video about the Interpretation Center, the dome of the Šibenik Cathedral, as well as instructions for the art workshop were prepared for Spanish students.

THIRD DAY OF HYBRID MOBILITY

30/3/2022

The participants of the Erasmus + project were visited by the prefect dr.sc. Marko Jelic and wished them a warm welcome to our county.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the visit to the island of Prvić could not be realized.

After that, the project partners visited Trokut - Center for New Technologies and Entrepreneurship organized by where students participated in a workshop on micro: bit, programming in makecod programming language and trying out VR glasses.

FOURTH DAY OF HYBRID MOBILITY

All project participants watched and analyzed the film Ian, whose lesson is the acceptance of diversity in people.

Spanish students attended online and all together analyzed the results of the quiz after watching the film.

After that, students from Lithuania and Croatia visited the fortress of St. Mihovil, and in the cisterns of the fortress they attended presentations of the rich history of the fortress and our city.

FIFTH DAY OF HYBRID MOBILITY

1/4/2022

All project participants participated in the final knowledge quiz, dance and gift giving to guests from Lithuania. After that, they visited the rural household Etnoland Dalmati where they got to know the cultural and historical identity of the people of the Dalmatian hinterland, which ended the mobility of the Erasmus + project. Workshops on the culture and history of Lithuania, as well as the drama workshop "Communicating through feelings" were held at the "Sokratus" school. As part of the presidential residence, in the Education Center, students took part in interactive workshops in which they learned more about the natural, cultural and historical heritage of Lithuania.

Dissemination of the project Values through Art 🎇🎈🎉

This school year, project partners from Croatia hosted two teachers from Spain as part of the Erasmus+ KA1 project. Teachers Antonija Mamužić and Željka Ćaleta Car presented the Erasmus+ K2 project Values ​​through Art, presenting the activities that were worked on during the duration of the project (28.3.2022.) 🙂

The Croatian Pedagogical and Literary Choir, branch of the Split-Dalmatia County, organized the Summer School. Professional-scientific gathering I'm changing my practice! And you? took place on the 24th-25th August 2021 in Split, and included plenary lectures, workshops as well as works from educational practice.

Željka Ćaleta Car and Antonija Mamužić presented the Erasmus+ project Values ​​through Art in which they participate and the challenges they encountered while carrying out activities during the pandemic. They mentioned the positive changes they introduced in their work, how they changed practice, operationalized activities and developed the quality of work among project partners. 🙂

We worked hard on the eTwinning platform for the duration of the project.

The project was awarded a eTwinning National Quality Label by Croatian partners. 🙂🎉🥇💻⌨
