GENERAL POLICY
The LIBRARY is to be used solely for the purpose of studying, reading and researching. Hence, it is not a place for sleeping, hanging out with friends, or a charging station of cellular phones, tablets and other gadgets. Frequent disrespect of this rule will result in the loss of library privileges and the violator will incur disciplinary action. The users’ cooperation in maintaining the cleanliness, silence and orderliness will be highly appreciated.
VCSMS LRC RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. OBSERVE SILENCE AT ALL TIMES.
2. Practice honesty and courtesy all the time.
3. Do not stay for company, group practice, loiter, litter (even around the library corridors), chit chat, eat and drink.
4. Leave your personal belongings such as book bags, handbags, etc., at the counter. Any loss of personal belongings not endorsed to the librarian is not the responsibility of the library. The library disclaims any liability for the loss or damage.
5. Submit any book or object for inspection, when requested by the librarian/library staff.
6. Do not write, underline, mark, tear or mutilate the book or material borrowed. Library books and materials will be carefully examined after use and on the time of return. The borrower will be held 100% liable for the damage, or worse, loss of the book/material.
7. After reading or borrowing, return the book/s to the librarian for inspection promptly. Do not shelve the books right away.
8. Keep your mobile phones on silent mode all the time.
9. Reference books/materials cannot be loaned out from the library.
10. Ask help from the librarian/library staff, if you are not able to find your needed book/material.
11. Report lost books and materials to avoid or to stop overdue fines immediately.
